studio part 2

Here’s part 2 of my studio tour.

The desk is L-shaped. This section is just to the left of my clay area shown in studio part 1. This center section is generally where I sand beads and apply finish. I absolutely love the containers on the wall. I got them in the fishing/tackle area of my local Wal~Mart. The individual containers snap into the larger container. They have a handle and can easily be removed from the wall to take with you. My beads and findings are stored in these for jewelry making.

The other side of the desk is a general purpose area. It’s used for clay projects where I’m using paints, inks, mica powders, etc. It is also where I make jewelry and various other projects. The wire cubes on the desk hold various things and are a great place to put pliers and various other hand tools. On the far left is the buffer and just to the left of that (not in the photo) is my oven.

I envy all those storage caddies you have there.

  2. Wow! Look how organized you are! Not the typical crazy messy artist at all!
