busy busy busy

I’m in the middle of a large order, a tutorial, and taxes among other things, but I did make a little time this past weekend to play. I love bangle bracelets and they are the main reason I started making polymer clay beads. I wanted beads with the right size holes to fit on heavy gauge wire. Well, I started making beads and they took off and I very seldom make jewelry anymore.

This is a design I’ve had floating around my head for some time and decided to give it a try. It’s far from perfect but I’m pretty happy with it for a first try.

I used head pins as the rivets for connecting the wire.

That’s very cool though. And original.

I like the way you did the headpin / rivet thing. That’s well thought out.

Awesome Chris! I love to see you making jewelry again :)
My addiction to your beads is part of the reason you don’t get enough time to play anymore, LOL, I’m sorry, but you had me at first bead :)

Thanks Elaine! The headpin/rivet idea just came to me because I always have trouble getting the first end flattened when using wire.

    Thanks Annie!
