Friday night, my youngest was in a lighted holiday parade. It was so COLD and the wind picked up as the night went on. Even so, there ended up being a decent sized crowd to watch the parade. My son is in a school based mentoring program through Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Iowa, which is the group he is walking with in the parade.

This was my favorite….a VW Bug lit up and cute snowmen driving while blasting “Frosty the Snowman”.
Afterwards we came home to warm up with some hot cocoa
