I ordered some of the new Pardo Art Clay recently for a project. I need the strength and flexibility of the Pardo Jewellery Clay for thin pieces, but find it’s softness hard to work with. Of course I can’t buy just one or two…..I MUST have all the colors.
Is there a 12-step program for this? I hope to try it out today or tomorrow and will let you know what I think.

Next on the agenda is a requested tutorial for my earthstone pottery beads, which I hope to have ready soon. I’m also supposed to be getting ready for a yard sale with my mom this weekend….And the fabric store just called to tell me my special order fabric is in. What’s a girl to do?

I am the poster child for “if one is good, more must be better”…
I have things in my studio that are still in the bags and packages they came in but I just HAD to have them! I so understand the more is better logic. Makes perfect sense to me (grin). As for the Pardo, I did restrain myself on that. When I saw that Hobby Lobby was carrying it, I picked up a couple of colors to try. I did NOT like it. Like you say, too soft to do what I want. I may use it for bracelet blanks or something like that since it is purportedly strong and flexible. Right now I’m using Kato translucent for bracelet blanks but I hate the smell of Kato. Premo is my brand of choice.
Arlene – I do that too. Think I have to have the latest product and then it sits here still in the packaging. I did restrain myself with Pardo Jewellery Clay and only bought 16 colors. LOL! I’m a Premo girl too, but sometimes like to use other clays for different projects.
