Several online groups/forums I belong to usually have some kind of monthly inspiration photo or idea posted. I don’t always have time to do them, but they are a lot of fun. I really enjoy seeing all the different things that come from the same photo.
Some of them really challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone. This was the case with a recent inspirational challenge. I made my first goddess bead. Sculpting is not my strong point, but I was rather pleased with the way she turned out. She’s approximately 1 1/4″ tall.
The inspiration is a painting of Madam Pele’ (goddess of the volcano).
