mica powders

Well, I’ve shifted gears slightly, moving from mica in the clay to mica on the clay. This method can be a little messy. Or maybe, I’m just messy, but I end up with mica powder everywhere. Reminds me of when the kids were younger and would come home from school with paint and markers on their hands, faces, etc. Hey, it could be a fun way to get in touch with your inner child….

My ‘molten lava’ beads were textured to look like lava, then randomly covered with mica powders. You can check them out here.
