more mokume gane

I admit to being somewhat ADD. I will make a set of beads in a certain design/style (maybe even two), then I move on to something totally different. So, I’ve surprised myself with my desire to keep working with mokume gane techniques. It’s not like I haven’t tried it before, I’ve just never really gotten the results that I wanted. Now, my mind is in overdrive thinking of different color combinations, different ways to get to get patterns, foil or just metallic clay, the list goes on and on.

Here’s a pendant and large focal lentil in another mokume gane design.

Chris, those are just beautiful! I think that using the mokume gane and getting great results depends greatly on the placement of the colors, and the colors themself…. I tend to work small, I am always trashing some that I just don’t like, but all in all I LOVE Mokume Gane and playing around with patterns I put into them.

And Chris, you latest beads have been to die for! They are just stunning!
    Talk to you later!

    HUGS!!
