This title to a country song has been going through my head this morning. A building on our town square collapsed sometime this morning. From what I heard, one of the walls had been bowed out recently. Indianola’s town square is filled with old buildings. I really hope that the other building owners take this as a wake up call and have their buildings inspected. It’s sad to lose an old building like this, they have so much more character than many of the newer buildings.

Oh my! I hope no one was hurt. It’s terrible to lose a piece of history like that. I love strolling through older towns and seeing the stately buildings.
I love old buildings…just hate to see them disappear….really hope no one is near when this happened!! Great shots, Chris!!
Wow Chris! So glad nobody was around when the building collapsed! I agree with Amanda and Mona, it is so sad to lose these old buildings and the history that goes with them.
