tips tuesday

Another goal for 2008 is to try to come up with something interesting to write about on a regular basis. So, I thought I would share some tips and tricks with you.

Today’s tip is: you don’t have to spend a lot of money for great tools. Some of the best things in life are free, or at least very cheap. Below is a photo of my baking rack. The only one I’ve ever used. It’s made from the cheap, throw away aluminum pans you can get about anywhere. They usually come in a two pack, which is perfect. Cut slots in sides of the pan to keep your wire in place and instant baking rack. What to do with the other pan (since they come in a two pack)? Glad you asked. The other pan is perfect for inverting over your beads to prevent light colors from scorching.
