you know it’s Monday when….

You know it’s Monday when….My son is eating breakfast and it’s time to be heading out the door, he says he lost a tooth. Well, it was half a tooth. It’s a baby tooth and the other half is wiggly, but still in there. It’s time to go so will have to deal with that later. I’m walking him to school and we get almost there and he panics because he’s wearing flip flops and it’s a P.E. day. I walk the dog back home, give him a treat, run upstairs to grab a pair of socks, grab the tennis shoes and walk back to school, drop off the shoes with the secretary, then back home I go again. Sit down to catch up on email, take a drink of coffee (which is already getting cold by this point), the dog throws up on the loveseat, I clean that up and now my coffee is cold……

Second cup of coffee and things are looking better. We are on the final countdown to my daughter’s wedding, which is this Saturday. My dining room is stacked with boxes of decorations, bowls, platters, plates, etc. If it’s not all in one place I know that something will get forgotten or lost.

I’m off to make candy seashells that will go on the cake.
